About Course
As the role of health care in the world expands, TKSS established this training since 2006 to provide young people in Myanmar with health assistant employment opportunities. Currently, TKSS Healthcare Assistant and Phermaceutical Training (HCA) is the only course that provide Myanmar healthcare workers with official jobs in major hospitals in Singapore with a salary of S$1,100 and a living allowance of S$500 (a total of S$1,600).
Available Services
All graduated students from the course will have below:
- TKSS will provide job opportunities with minimum service fee to Hospital, Elder Homes in foreign countries such as Singapore, Japan, etc.,
- Free local job search for students who are interested in local hospitals and clinics
- Free consulting and service to whom are planning to open own clinice and pharmacy
- Hostel provided during the training period
- Three meals included in the training period
- Wide compound to relax and enjoy after the study hours
- 24 hours security
- Full trainers and lecturers to provide efficient training
- Events and Fun Trips
- Free uniform, 2 x T shirts, stationaries, TKSS bags are provided
Course Content
The lecturers are also experienced and professional hospital head doctors, professors, doctors, and nurses. Practical training and demonstrations are carried out in a large specialist clinic where about 300 patients are being treated every day.

Training Period
Total hours = 3 month (Concept 1 month + Practical & English Speaking 2 months). 1st month of training is camping and the rest 2 months can be attended from outside as suitable for the students. (For those who have difficulties to travel, there is a hostel nearby the training center.)

PRACTICAL TRAINING
During the 2 months of practical training, a series of excercises tending wounds, measuring blood pressure and oxygen level, diabetes test, bedding, urine catheterization, ECG, age care, nursery, emergency treatement, first aid, etc., are practised at Thu Kha Su San Specialist Clinic, Laboratory, Clinic, and Pharmacy.
